    News From Children's Ministries

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward." Psalm 127:3

Part of our walk with God is the joy of being a parent. Parents have the wonderful and sometimes daunting responsibility to provide their children with a spiritual heritage. Children are extremely observant and impressionable and thus are greatly influenced by their daily interaction with parents. Simply put, values are "caught" more than "taught."

I would like to praise you parents. Our church family is so blessed by your children. The laughter they bring to our church family at the most unexpected times is a gift. The insights they share concerning Bible knowledge they have learned touch the heart with the wonder of their simple truths. They show us with joy the values they have "caught" from their loving parents. Keep up the good WORK all you parents. For although it IS hard work the end product is well worth the effort!

"And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming." 1 John 2:28

The purpose of our programs is to nurture children into a living faith in the living God and to encourage families as they grow in faith together. Using adult and youth members of our church as teachers, assistants, care givers and group leaders, we have developed programs that are biblically based and interactive.

Please contact the church office (773-8274) if you would like more information about our children's programs.
