"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth." Psalm 96:1

The Westminster Presbyterian Chancel Choir takes this verse to heart. This fine adult ensemble of about 45 voices sings praises to God with music both old and new.  Sometimes the music is accompanied, sometimes it is a cappella.  Always, it is sung with utmost joy and enthusiasm.

The choir sings for both the 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. services every Sunday from Labor Day to the first Sunday in June. Once or twice a year the choir presents a special performance of a major choral work, frequently with instrumental accompaniment. Our choir also participates in cooperative musical projects with other church choirs from around the area.

Choir Director Sean WarrenThe Choir is directed by Sean Warren, a long time public school music educator. Sean has sung with and directed choirs, both in school and in the community, throughout the state of Oregon. His goal is to "praise God through the very special gift he gave to us - music, and to do so with joy."

Our Chancel Choir meets every Wednesday night, September through May, at 7 pm in the sanctuary and sings until 8:30. No audition is necessary. All that is required is the desire to praise God with your voice. If you are interested in singing with the Chancel Choir, show up in the sanctuary at 7:00 on Wednesday evening or contact Sean Warren by email.
